OPERATING SYSTEMS AND RESOURCE DEMANDS

LogicCoder uses a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to illustrate program algorithms using Flowcharts. LogicCoder does not require large amount of memory. However, it provides a large number of functions that makes it high productive system for programmers. LogicCoder is a well programmed system that is implemented concisely by way of exact programming and minimum program source code.

LogicCoder is implemented to run under either the Ms Windows's operating system or DOS. The Ms Window version of LogicCoder uses standard Ms Windows GUI. This implementation require more memory and processor resource but provides a familiar Ms Windows interface for some users. On the other hand, the DOS version uses less familiar interface but provides the same functionality. It uses less resources. The implementation of LogicCoder allow document files to be easily ported across different operating systems environment.

The DOS implementation of LogicCoder uses a simpler GUI and uses far less systems resource and gives good performance on systems with lower specification to that required by the Ms Windows version.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT
If you are installing the DOS version of LogicCoder, then you should ensure that you system have the following capabilities Ms DOS 6 or higher
EGA, VGA, SVGA graphics capability
ALSO A ISO standard mouse
An Intel Pentium II or higher processor
At least 16 Mgs of RAM
If you wish to run the system while Ms Windows run in the back ground, then you should increase the RAM to at least 32 Mgs for reasonable performance.

If you are installing the Ms Windows version of the LogicCoder, then you should ensure that your system meets the following minimum requirement.
Ms Windows 95 or higher, Ms Windows NT 3.01, 4.00
EGA, VGA, SVGA graphics capability
Also a ISO standard mouse
An Intel Pentium II or higher processor
At least 32 Mgs of RAM

The user interface when drawing a flowchart is intuitive and relatively simple to follow. The illustration here shows basic element you need to become familiar with when drawing a flowchart.
